    MCAT cancellations?!?

    Advertisements

    Hey all,

does anyone know how it's going to work for people who had their tests cancelled today due to the power outage?

I ended up writing today, but my testing centre was the only one in the area which ended up writing. And I'm not even going to tell you how bitter I am....... :-angryk

    Cheers,

    why

Why are you bitter? I would think you'd be happy that you got to write your MCAT as expected...the other guys will be inconvenienced.

My guess is that the test will simply be rescheduled to a date in the next couple of weeks and everyone's scores will still reach their destinations on time.

    why I'm bitter

I'm bitter because I could have used the extra study time.

yes I was a bit unprepared due to my own lack of preparation, but I could have definitely used the extra time to study. I also know that my friends who didn't have to write are now studying. None of them know when the rewrite will be, but they all are using the extra time.

It is definitely true that it is an inconvenience not to write at the alotted time. But I would gladly trade that inconvenience for a shot at getting an extra week of studying ( In another week of studying I could have nailed orgo a bit more - I really suck at it)

    Cheers all,

    Silenthunder
