In the CARMS application we have the option to select Yes/No to include the suplemental feedback report from the MCCEE. Can you respond if you selected yes or no and why. Thank you

I chose to include mine as it highlighted my performance in the specialty I was applying to.
I would not include it if it shows below average performance in any of the areas.

    Hi,

I didn't send it. All lines over the border but off the scale on ob-gyn (never been one so don't know why that was the case). Anyhow, I guess I feel that is another way for them to analyze you and kick you out for some strength in a non-relevant area or a weakness in an area they think is key. I'm talking family medicine so - clearly if I was going for ob-gyn then I guess I should submit that to show that result, but for family medicine I'm not.

    Your thoughts?

    S-

So I have a bit of an issue....

Im applying extremely broadly in the upcoming match....im applying to Surg, IM and Family. My MCCEE score is 410; however, my PMCH score is borderline/above bordreline - i only had like 2 or 3 questions on PMCH and probably messed them up. Everything else is extremely high. Should I include my supplemental form? I feel the borderline score on PMCH might raise some flags (especially for Family Medicine) whereas the 410 stands strong by itself...any advice would be appreciated

I submitted my app before getting my MCCEE score and did not select the supplemental form. My score was very high and this supplemental form is quite new so I dont think it will make any difference with a score over 400.

Hey Can2carib, in another thread you posted a 394 score. Did you make a mistake earlier or get a nice mark bump from MCC? I scored >400 and had everything maxed on the Supp feedback.

    i got bumped to 410...

are much weight do programs give to other forms of evaluations i.e. MCCQE1, CEHPA or NAC-OSCE? Have people matched with MCCEE and Canadian electives only?

Congrats first! I have multiple friends matched with only MCCEE and Canadian electives. Good luck in the match! Submit the Supp feedback! It should look great.

hahaha I know. amazing how everyone is well above average.

I included the supplemental form in my applications. I did not score >400. I still matched.
