    Hi

    i have a question about canadian imgs doing there clinicals in the usa...and being an american myself i do not have the answers for the canadians studying with me..please help!


    do canadians need a visa to do their clinicals in the USA?

    I believe the answer is yes, but the visa is an easy one to arrange and it is handled mostly by the school....someone with more info please respond...

    Yes, Canadians need a B-1 Visa to do clinicals in the United States. Apply as early as possible for this otherwise you won't be allowed into a hospital to do your rotations.

    US visa

    I will be a landed immigrant in Canada in March 2003 and would like to do MD from one of the carribean medical schools.

    Is the US visa formalities to for landed immigrant at the time of US clinicals same as the other canadians or will I be treated as an Indian, as I will be holding an Indian passport.
