    good for you!

I think the age thing is a plus! We need mature doctors who have experienced those obstacles in life. You've obviously gone over some obstacles, what with kids and a husband Why don't you ask yourself why NOT? Why NOT study for the MCCEE? Why NOT try becoming someone you've always wanted to become? What have you got to lose? You said so yourself that you have time to think about yourself now, so go on and give it all you got! I'm not much of a morale booster, but if I were you, I'd think being 45 would make me twice the MD as any new grads out there

    43 year olds question

Girl Please !! And what is WRONG with being 43 ? You should be glad that you were blessed to get that age. You can do this if you want it bad enough. Get the whole family involved. Sit them down and just tell them that it is your turn and you want to take it ! Get them to help you fulfill your dreams just like you help them fulfill theirs everyday. Hang in there and good luck. Feel free to pm me if you want to talk.
