    glucogon would inhibit Acetyl CoA carboxylase. I'm not exactly sure why, but by simply looking at the question:

    large amounts of citrate tell you that there is a lot of available glucose for the eventual citric acid cycle

    The same goes for choices C, D. So it has to be glucogon.

    Glucagon...acetyl Co A carboxylase is needed for fat synthesis and in the well fed state ,fat synthesis occurs :however in the postabsorptive,glucagon world lipolysis is stimulated which inhibits acetyl Co A carboxylase.
