Coming back to Australia to do residency?

    Advertisements

I've done some searching and haven't been able to find a thread relating to these exact circumstances.

The deal is, I'm in my final semester of MD at University of Texas and I'm thinking of coming back to Australia to do residency. I am both a US and Australian citizen. Am I able to come back and do residency? Is the procedure extremely difficult to come back in? And are there any other tests/exams to sit for?

I'm just looking at my options for the future after almost 8 years in the US, I think I want to come back down under! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
