    Failing policy

    Advertisements

Hey guys... a prospective student just wondering, what is the policy if you fail an exam midterm or final, or fail the course here at Aureus. I know at some carib schools you get dismissed right away while at others you get to take a remedial exam and/or retake the course. Thanks!

I think it's very bad and big hurdle for the success of a student's career. I hate failing as it stop all the study process and push us back.
    Do the hard part first

at AUREUS, this is how it works. If you suck up to the teacher and they like you, you will pass despite the fact that you could have failed all three block exams. If your teacher hates you, your official transcript says that you passed, yet it's upto teachers descrition that he or she wants you to do a retake and keep $250 or $ 300 usd for retake in pocket and still fail you and make you repeat a course.

It's pretty sad how system works.
