    Aureus Profs underpaid Scam

    Advertisements

I heard there was some $$ scandle $$ at All Saints/AUREUS.

A prof was taking "personal" loans from students.

Does the school not pay their profs enough to survive that they need personal loans from students? I

s the school even aware of this fact? or are they a part of this!

    Oh my! yet another Scam

This seems to be a loan between this new teacher and student
and has nothing to do with underpaid profs
therefore it this has to solved between to two of them
On the other hand i'm pretty sure that the administration will adress this matter accordingly
    IF there is something wrong

Lets get the facts right - There is not a student involved, appreantly many students were approached for this so call "loan"

If this would be my school, this prof would not be on the island anymore. The question is not of a personal loan but if the representatives of the school act ethically.

Does your school allow/support students and teachers to intract at that level? Is this even professional?

There is a code of conduct for students and teachers in every medical school I am aware of and this is definately a NO NO - as it can be deemed as "Conflict of Interest" in reference to the interaction between that particular student/s and teacher. I also like how you, in your reply differentiate "new teacher"; just so you know, new or old, ones a prof joins an institution - He/She represents that particular instituation.

Lets hope your School sets an example of "doing the right thing" for you future Doctors!

    update

Aureus administration is very well aware of the situation and has already suspended/terminated the concerned professor to the best of my knowledge.

Is this prof suspended or terminated? A student is looking for this prof. He has taken some "personal loans" from this student and refuses to return calls. This student is in the process of filling a legal complain with the authorities!
