Kumusta po, Yuliana... pilipino po kayo?

Yes, a student studying medicine in the Philippines can take the USMLE Steps, which are exams that are necessary to gain a residency in the United States. That is assuming your school is listed in the IMED FAIMER. To my knowledge, every school in the Philippines is listed, and therefore their students are eligible to sit for the USMLEs.

After you get accepted into a residency, licensing is a different issue. That is up to the state you wish to practice in. For example, New York does not have very stringent rules for obtaining licensure when compared to California. If you wish to practice in California (or obtain a residency there), you need to attend one of their approved schools. Not all schools in the Philippines are recognized by California. The schools in Manila and Cebu are, for the most part, but some lesser-known universities and new programs are not yet approved. (I cannot post links yet since I only have a couple of posts, but type "California Medical Board" into Google if you are interested in practicing in that state, or "IMED FAIMER" if you'd like to see if your school's graduates are eligible to sit for the USMLEs).

Spend a few hours researching the USMLEs and licensure in the US. This website and others are cornucopias of information.

And by the way, this is the wrong forum to ask this question. This is for asking questions about a specific school called All Saints University. So the moderators will probably move this thread to the main international forum soon.
