    Asum aruba fall 2009

    Advertisements

    Hello,

I got call from the admissions office today saying that i was accepted into the medical school, without any interviews or any questions. I find that hard to believe. Has this happened to anyone before? Is anyone attending ASUM in Aruba from NJ for September 2009 semester? Can a former or current student please give me some information about the school? How is the faculty? what is the USMLE step 1 and 2 passing rate? How is the living condition on the island? Pretty much just an over all view of the school. I know its a lot of questions. All the help wil be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!

The place is wonderful to live with lots of attractions. This is one of the best islands in the Caribbean. This medical university is gr8. It has got a very good campus and full faculty for both premed and MD program. For MD, they have all postgraduate and experienced staff. There is no formal interview. They view your transcripts and other documents, if found genuine, they admit you and inform you in which program you are accepted.

For youre information a committee has sreened all your grades before accepting you.
As for the passing rate of USMLI, ASUM Aruba is above the 90's
thanks to all the good professors, which are always ready to help.
the living condition on Aruba is to be compared with Miami, the island has everything and the people are always ready to help.
you made a very good decision to join ASUM Aruba and as most of us you will not regret this.
If you have more questions you can either call the US office or Aruba office, they are always there to help the students.

Are you people serious? How can you not get interviewed for Medical School? And its USMLE not USMLI, I suggest re-thinking this decision.
