    Why lsat & mcat?

    TELLING IT AS IT IS

    Informing the masses:

Without getting into the historical aspect of things, I just want to remind everyone why the standardized exams of LSAT & MCAT were developed.

These exams were developed specially, as the name states "standardized", To find the standard by which students' knowledge acquired can be measured by the same standard. To this end, in a country with serious academic disparity the LSAT & MCAT were born. However, over time academic institutions have changed and they now save the global society. So much that, the standard has absolutely changed. The global standard cannot be measured by the local LSAT & MCAT exams. For the measure are not international standards. Period. Save for the chronic followers. As such there is NO NEED for any institution that is truly international to use national standardised examinations like lsat & mcat.... jus because they have been written in capital letters. That is not the way things become international, by changing them from lower case to upper case. LOL!!! Geeeee!!!!

For example, there is not need for Canadian Universities to be requiring lsat or mcat. And many others, really. Because their institutions do not have such disparities... they are pretty standard...

The LSAT and MCAT are a great way to show proficiency in the tested material. These tests acknowledge that not all schools are equal when it comes to giving out grades.

These tests also weed out those whom have ridiculously atrocious grammar and grasp of the English language and would be better off in some sort of english as a second language school than in med school. Many of these sorts can be seen on valuemd, although I suppose they will have to remain nameless due to the TOS of valuemd.
