    Is aruba family friendly?

    Advertisements

I am trying to determine the best school for me to attend and be able to bring my husband and 2 children, ages 11 and 12. I posted a thread on the st james forum and received a reply stating that my children would not be able to attend island school in bonaire, and that the bonaire island residents were not friendly to families of students. How is aruba in this area? Thanks to all for any help you can provide.

    Arubans

The population of Aruba is pretty much illiterate and very hostile to students. They kiss the tourists' ***** but when they find out you're a student they really have it out for you. A fine example is being hassled by Immigration when you fly into Aruba. If they find out you're a student, you're being deported back to Miami on the next flight out. This is not bulls+it - it does happen.

a friendly island for tourists - incorrigible people for non resident arubans. once they see your wallet, you'll be nothing more than a dollar bill.
