    What? King George's???

    Advertisements

Has/is anyone rotated(ing) at King George's? When I chose Romford, I figured I would be based at Queens, but now it seems I have been reassigned to King Georges. King George's isn't even mentioned on the AUC uk website. Should I demand (ie grovel) to be switched? Is that even possible in the UK?
Any info on experience at King George's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On the up side....it appears they have on site housing.....

King George is the Sister hospital to Queen's Hospital. They even have a staff shuttle about every hour back and forth (or you can take the train). What rotation do you have? If they put you there, it is most likely because that field of medicine is better at King George's than Queen's. During my OB/GYN rotation I actually did clinics at 3 different locations around the Romford area (including King George's).
