Well before I start my 1st rotation, anyone willing to share some tips, ideas, "I wish I knew that before I started" 's and anything else that would help me to survive my IM rotation and my 1st rotation?? :P

Start studying for step II when you start rotations. I was doing a block of 25-50 questions a day during 3rd year. I didn't really have to study hard for step II like I did for step I and I scored almost 30 points higher. Treat all of third year like a long review for Step II.

Don't feel bad if you feel completely useless.

Get Step Up to Medicine and read it over and over.. that's all the advice I have.

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.

Griffin in CT, I'm visiting CT now. Its nice here, reminds me of home. Griffin is in Derby CT, which is small town like. St. Mary is in Waterbury which is large city type with all the typical big city stuff. Nice mix, Im looking froward to it. Just got to find an apartment now, which we spent today and yesterday looking for some.

So you're doing IM at Griffin and then Surgery at St. Mary's?

Are you planning on anything else at the two CT hospitals?
