Is the AUA pre-med program accredited in the US?

I was just wondering because to get residency in most states you need 60-90 undergrad credits. Will AUA's pre-med credits work for this or not? I was just curious since the undergrad is not in the US and it is outside of the US, how that whole situation works in accreditation. If anyone knows anything please reply,

    thanks

No. AUA's premed is not accredited in the US. If US licensure was dependent on US accreditation for undergrad work, tens of thousands of foreign trained physicians would not have been able to gain licensure. US medical licensure is not dependent on US-accredited undergraduate education.

    Hey

    Hello,

Thanks for responding. So, I understand it is not a US accredited because it is a foreign undergrad program, but can the AUA premed program credits be used when you need to apply for residency or licensure with them knowing they are foreign undergraduate credits?

    Thanks for the help.
