    Premed?

    Advertisements

How hard are the premed classes...specifically the chemistry classes inorganic and organic chem? Do you have to type up formal lab reports after every lab? The university i'm at right now...we have to; its rough because it takes hours to type it up....there at least 20 pages long (after every single lab!)

    Pre- med Chem

Ok... SO I came from a regular 4 yr college... and am now at AUA. I remember those 20 page chem 1 &2 lab reports! Fact of the matter... They dont exist here ! APparently BIo is supposedly harder than the chem... I find them both 2 be pretty simple... extremely simplified versions of the regular classes at most universities! If u have any ? feel free to PM me or email!

    Pre-Med & MCAT !!!

Yes, take the pre-meds in your community college or University, not in your med schools, some states will require an actual BA, or BSc for licensing:
    Organic Chemistry
    Biology
    Chemistry
    Physics
    Math
    Psychology

Also I would advise on taking: Cognitive Psychology, Physiology and Biostatistics, to be better prepared for medical school....

Don't forget to take the MCAT as well, use KAPLAN and Princeton Review for that.

    Cheers,

I'd appreciate an example of a State that requires a Bachelor's degree for Licensure.
