    pre-med 1

    Hi,

just a quick question, if someone wants to apply directly into PreMed 1 and who has about 36 college credit hours with 2-3 science classes and overall 2.5 GPA, theyll get in for sure right to premed1?

AUA is very leniant on premed1s correct? All you basically need is a pulse and a high school diploma. thats what everyones been telling me

A pulse helps. But you'd be surprised (I know I have been) on how many Premed applicants have been denied recently. 2.50 GPA may be a little marginal. Get some good letters of recommendation and give a good impression in your interview.

If a student has less than 1 year completed at a college or university...than yes, they will want to review high school academics as well.

FYI - 36 credits is at least one year's worth of college work.
