    Recommendations for 3rd years

    Advertisements

Does anyone know how to get letter for recommendations for students in their 3rd year who haven't started ERAS yet? If we have an attending who is willing to write a LOR for us, how do we store that letter without breaking confidentiality? E.g., Interfolio.com?

theres really no way to do this other than to revisit the attending in the summer before you apply. you could ask them to write it and then upload it later but most attendings won't write their letters til the very last minute anyway so it doesn't matter. Keep in mind that ECFMG processes our LORs so it can take up to 2 weeks for a letter to be uploaded. I recommend telling them the absolute latest is the last week of August so you can have everything in on time when the application opens. start saving up for eras; it gets $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
