Has anyone done heme/onc at RUMC. What are the hours like? How are the preceptors?

Hey I did heme/onc at Rumc, one of the first people to do it. It was kinda cool, but you follow the heme/onc fellow, not an attending, but you get to see alot of hospital pts, consults, and work in the clinic. The hours usually are from 8 to 4 or sometimes later. Ocasionally you round with the attending and you have to give short presentation of different cancers to the team. In the end I got an A for the rotation and learned a lot.

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. Have you done any other electives at Richmond?
