    non green risk

    Advertisements

If we do not do any green or blue rotations will that really limit our ability to get licensed in certain states? I mean are the medical state board officials really going to check if our rotations were green. Why would they waste their time looking up every rotation done by every applicant. I am beginning to think that maybe sticking to all green rotations is really not that important. If i am wrong and medical board officials really do investigate every rotation for every applicant please let me know.

    They ask

They might not catch you if you lie. But if you do, then you get branded a liar and can't practice anywhere. At all.

If you decide to go with it, don't mention you're from AUA. Might as well say you're from Harvard.

Im not saying i want to lie and say that i did green rotations. What im asking is if the board officials will check to see if the sites where you did your rotations are green. B/c i am assuming that there is no section in the licensure application asking if your rotations were ACGME approved. Im assuming that thye will just see your listed sites on your transcript and its up to them to decide weather or not they will check to see if its ACGME approved. So i guess what im trying to ask is if on the licensure applications we ourselves have to indicate if each of our cores was green. I was not implying that i have plans to lie...thats idiotic...i wouldnt do that.

There are people who get paid specifically to look into this stuff. It would take me around 20 minutes to check one applicant's core rotations for their accreditation. Just call the medical board of whatever state(s) you want to practice in and ask them what they want.

    No offense

Sorry, I see where I misread that.

Yes there is a specific checkbox (from what I hear) asking if the rotation was ACGME approved.

Sree does not mess around with his info...all are pretty much on point. you can teach the medical school owners about this stuff.
