Is Maryland General new? Or is it part of one of the other Maryland rotations?

I don't see Maryland General on the AUA list (copied from DocP's Greenbook rotation post):

    Maryland:
    Franklin Square Hospital: Baltimore, MD
    Family Medicine
    Internal Medicine
    OB/GYN

    Harbor Hospital: Baltimore, MD
    Internal Medicine

    Sheppard Pratt: Baltimore, MD
    Psychiatry

    Union Memorial Hospital: Baltimore, MD
    Internal Medicine
    Surgery

Family core at Maryland General Hospital

Been trying to work out what the deal is with Maryland General...

Looks like this hospital has "Limited Affiliation" with Univ of Maryland -- just Vascular Surgery...

MG is on the ACGME website with IM and Opthamology and "Transitional year."

Is this enough to make the Family Med rotation green -- or am I missing something?

Not sure why these ACGME listings are so confusing to me -- but finally managed to find Maryland General listed for Family under University of MD...

However, I've been searching on VMD and elsewhere -- and I can't find anyone who has done Family (or any other rotation) at this hospital...

OK this is driving me craaaazzzzyyy...

(and check out this symptom of insanity [or schizophrenia]:

I'm TALKING TO MYSELF on this thread -- how many posts in a row is this??)

Here's my latest question (and i don;t think i'm gonna be able to answer it myself -- so somebody please help me out here):

How is it possible that I can find Maryland General listed for family medicine on the ACGME website, but I can't find it on AMA-Frieda????

Can't prove that it's not on Frieda (because maybe it is, and I just can't find it there),

but this is cut and pasted (with some enhanced formatting courtesy of moi) from the ACGME website:

https://freida.ama-assn.org/Freida/u...instNbr=230147 then click medical school affiliation and you will see U of M

the ACGME website has priority over FREIDA because it's actually coming from the source. if you can't find it on the FREIDA website but you can on ACGME, then i wouldn't worry.

thanks so much for the reponse

When you follow this link, you find U of MD affiliation -- but not for FAMILY I had seen this before -- If you look at the top of that page, MG is only on the Freida list for Vascular SUrgery specialty):

but THIS is what I needed to hear:

    Really appreciate the reassurance!

hi, the rotation for family medicine is actually at an outpatient office by a doctor affiliated with maryland general hospital.

I know maryland general is green book thru acgme website under univeristy of maryland.

I don't know if exactly it is still greenbook if the doctor is associated with the hospital.
