    q's about loan and greenbooks

    Advertisements

Hey just curious if one the loan from the twinning program will cover tuition and living expenses; additionally is it a deferrable loan?

Is it possible to set up your own green book rotations in FL(all rotations); either through the school or by yourself? I would appreciate anyones help. Thank you.

we have a 5th semester program in Miami but no other core clinical spots in Fl because we are not Florida-approved. this isn't a hard approval to obtain but the school hasn't been very active on this as their efforts are pushing towards California and other aspects.

you can however set up electives in Fl (up to 12 weeks i believe).

It's not very easy to set up electives on your own. You either need to know someone within a residency program (not a doctor's office or a private firm) or you need to petition a stranger to accept you. I had around 30 rejections before two faculty members at Albert Einstein and Downstate decided to sponsor me for electives in New York.

Is AUA recognized as a medical school in its own country bc i think that is the only FL requirement, in order to do clinicals there.
