Thread: Suggestions for MD1 student??

Hi, you will have all lectures and important books on portal access. If you need any other PDF books SGA have most of them, i prefer having book than PDF, if you like that i would recommend getting BRS Anatomy, wheaton histology.

One tip, listen to you professors be and be attentive in class and you will be just fine

Could you also tell me if students actually need scrubs, otoscopes and opthalmoscopes in MD1?

Hi, yes scrubs are important because of anatomy lab along with otoscopes and opthalmoscope because you will be learning how to use them in your DPS class and we have emergency club where students learn how to take vitals, discuss cases and learn how to use oto/opthalmoscope. Please make sure you have your stethoscope too. Good luck!

Good luck on MD1. All the students are helpful and they will hook you up with any PDF books. Make sure u bring your First Aid book with you.
