Hello Everyone.

I am an Australian Citizen whose gonna attend RCSI this October. I was wondering if it is possible (and if so how hard it is), to settle down and practice in Australia after graduation? I am lving in Canada right now and have lived here for 4 years but have spent the rest of my life in Australia hence my citizenship.

So is it difficult for an irish grad to dinally settle down in Australia and make a good living?

Thanks a lot folks

My husband is Australian, too, and is at Saba. He checked with the Australian med. licensing board and they didn't seem too happy about having him work there, unless he committed to work in the outback. My info is a couple years old, though. I'd certainly check with them again.

Hi, I am an international student who just graduated with a Biomedical Science degree from Melbourne University. I have only a GPA about 5.3/7 over three years. An average of 67 approx. I am eligible to apply honours across Australia and a few local uni which offer graduate entry provided I take GAMSAT and interview.

I am planning to apply Irish medical schools to increase the likelihood of getting in.

Before that, I graduated from foundation studies at Trinity College in Melbourne.
I obtained 88%.

For RCSI, it's >95% for 6 yrs and >80% for 5 yrs.

However I would like to know if anyone knows what requirements are set by other Irish universities for Australians and people who receive education in Australia.

Thank you.
