If anyone knows this.Getting confused with Heart murmurs and their characteristics. Could someone list characteristics of the follwoing murmur in refenrence to (why difference in PP) PP, Best heard at which location, (systolic, diastolic, soft/opening snap, holosystolic., S3 vs S4....) for the following1. Aortic stenosis2. Mitral Insufficiency3. Aortic Regurtitation4. Mitral stenosis
Thanks in advance

lets see think like this the valves on the bottom the mitral and tricupsid valves in stenosis it is mid diasolic murmur and in regurg pansystolic murmur
then the valves on the top aortic and pulmonary in stenosis it is pansystolic murmur and in regurg of aortic it is mid diastolic murmur and in pulmonary regurg it is early diastolic

then u must know that the valves on the right the murmurs will inc in intensity in inspiration and at valves on the left they will inc in intensity at expiration

to build the concept on why these murmurs are diastolic or systolic remember that diastole is the period of relaxation where the heart fills and systole is the period of contraction where the heart ejects its blood
hope this helps
