A 50 yr old male came to the clinic with S/S of parkinsons disease. He has long been using anti-psychotic. what drugs would be considered....
1. Levodopa
2. Bromocriptine
3. Amantadine
4. Deprenyl
5. Benztropine

I think you meant he has tardive dyskinesia? If so, I go with benztropine because it is the treatment for TD

bromocriptine causes the mental condition to worsen

Although bromocriptine is a dopamine agonist it may cause hallucinations and psychosis.It also causes marked dyskinesia.I therefore think that the most appropriate drug here would be a muscarinic receptor blocker which is benztropine. :idea:
