Hey, I recently took the USMLE CS and had a system crash that forced us to handwrite the majority of our patient notes, which was obviously very upsetting.

Anyway, I was just wondering if other people have had a similar experience?

I would refrain from discussing any recent test experiences on this thread because the NBME, USMLE, and ECFMG monitors all activity and chatter with respect to any of their recently administered exams.

There’s always that one idiot (not you) who would reply to this thread mentioning specific details regarding actual tested case scenarios or such, even if details are minor or ambiguous.

Even asking about which test center have frequent “crashes” may attract attention from the testing folks and be construed as “irregular behavior”. They can trace your IP address and bust you if they decide to pursue this route.

You become an accomplice by proxy, even if not intentional. Then your dreams of becoming a practicing physician are over.

The label of having “irregular behavior” on your record tells everyone you are a cheater. No one will hire you . Lawyers will tell you that as well.

DON’T GET IN TROUBLE!!!!

With Trump in office, his MAGA men and allies would luv the idea of denying an IMG a residency training spot

The other point I want to drive is that you or anyone else with complaints or gripes about what happened can not change what happened. Stuff happens, that’s life.

No they won't come after you for saying computers crashed. They can't track the IP address because they can't get a warrant they are not a government agency and it's not criminal. If they figure out who you are based on you supplying answers etc. But saying the site crashed and asking if someone had a similar problem is not going to get you suspicious.
