The St. Luke School of Medicine, a diploma mill run by the unlicensed J*****l Dolphin, appears to be recently, completely, and totally dead.

SLSOM had claimed to operate from Liberia and sometimes Ghana, though its now-closed website stluke edu had identified Los Angeles as its legal home, in which any legal actions involving SLSOM would play out.

For the last few years the SLSOM website's home page blamed the ebola outbreak on people who had interfered with its activities, as if the launching of customers like John Curran into the world (imprisoned for his pseudo-medical activities) would be a positive thing. This is not what one expects to see on the home page of a real medical school.

I recommend you look at the World Directory of Medical Schools to ensure you attend a medical school recognized by its host country! I hope that helps in your search for a legitimate medical school.

I recommend you look at the World Directory of Medical Schools to ensure you attend a medical school recognized by its host country! I hope that helps in your search for a legitimate medical school.

Do note the following warning on the WDOM site:

"The listing of a medical school in the World Directory of Medical Schools does not denote recognition, accreditation, or endorsement by the World Directory of Medical Schools or by the partner organizations leading this venture, the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME ) and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER)..."

There is a problem of garbage-in, garbage-out. SLSOM used to be listed by IMED/FAIMER. And check out the WDOM-listed entities associated with Montserrat, and their accreditation status here: <Google search for "Programmes Assessed by the CAAM-HP">

That leads one to question the reliability of WDOM's information.
