Hello,

I was just accepted into AUA's medical school for August 2015. I was just curious if there is a long wait time for clinical spots at the hospitals affiliated with AUA.

Not at all. If you finish the required materials before clinicals as in step 1, then there shouldn't be a long wait time. Most of my rotations are back to back so far and I just finished 3rd year. Use your time wisely on the Island and study hard. GL

Thank you Vick for you input. Are you currently doing clinically? If so which one are you currently in and where is it? Are you enjoying it?

I just finished my last core in NY at RUMC. Life gets a lot easier after step 1 so yeah it has been fun thus far. I was worried about the clinical wait time like you when I started, but as I got close my rotations there was hardly any wait. The Key is to do well in step 1. GL.

Vick2025,

Which core rotation are you do right now? Do you commute from home or are you renting an apartment or house nearby? I know i have a few years to go before i worry about this, but i just want to cover all my bases. Thank you!

Internal Med. I live in NY so I commute from home, but there are Apts available to rent for students around the affiliated hospitals here.
