Hey everybody, I just wanted to ask of my chances at matching into a community Internal Medicine program for the upcoming match. My application has been submitted and I'm pretty nervous so any advice from you guys (or my fellow ladies) would be great. Here are my Stats:

School: US IMG from Ross
US Citizen
Exams (all passed on first attempt):
Step 1: 219
Step 2: 222
Step 2cs: pass
No red flags. Some volunteer experience at various surgery and nephro. clinics during my time off after step 1. Total ~300hours
No research.
Good Lors.

Applied broadly to 130+ IM programs and 45+ Family Practice as backup.
Please let me know, I would be very grateful for all your efforts.

Every VMD opinion is just that... an opinion. My opinion is that you have a very good shot at matching. Best of luck!

Thanks a lot for your input DD! I value the opinion of you and other experienced docs on here who have been through the process. Thanks!

Just for the record, while I have read and learned a lot about the US Match, I have not actually been through the process. (I accepted a residency in Switzerland upon graduation and withdrew from the Match sequence entirely.) :) Thanks, though!

Good luck, interview well, be cool and polite, and I wish you success.

Thanks again. Good luck to you as well in Switzerland. Not a bad place to practice at all. :D

We got an email from my school lately that showed AUA-grads with <220 in IM had about 40% chance of matching.

Ooohhhh man, wish I had gotten the extra 1-2 points to put myself into the range above 220. Regardless, it's still fairly close so hopefully I will be able to secure some interviews at lower tier IM programs and then try to interview well as DD recommended!
