As we all know on campus, the information flow between students hasn't been the greatest. The students on campus always stress and try to stay in contact with students ahead of us, most of us know the May USMLE exam results were reported today and I was in contact with 3 students first, J.S. who started with AUSOM from the 1st semester, she reported a 241 on step 1. Next, R. P. she also started at AUSOM as an MD 1 student, she scored a 229, and L.B. who transferred into MD2 from Ross, he scored a 223. They are already scheduled for clinical rotations at teaching hospitals and begin on Monday the 15th.

Good news over all for the students still here in St. Lucia, when you combine this with our match results it's great news. Now, I guess it's my turn to put up or shut up after completing the basic science program.

Congrats to those students who did well in the STEP1. It is a great news.

What amazes me day after day is how people never seem to realize how focusing on books and study time now pays off when the time comes. Absolutely kills me, and I am sorry coloring books and other crap just wont cut it.........I am soooo looking forward to 16 hour days of study, beats working for little income. See you soon SL and AUSOM!

Dude I love your enthusiasm, I have also followed the twitter and FB post and confirmed that B. P. (transfer from Windsor) is in Georgia, J. S. (AUSOM student from day 1) is in Colorado, R. P. (a Ross transfer student) is in Maryland, and C. L. is in Connecticut completing their clinical rotations at teaching hospitals.

Definitely reduced my stress levels.

Hey Dude, thanks for the info but reading something on VMD and getting the truth can always be very different. It is true that Colorado follows Cali rules for licensure but not for clinical rotations or a training (residency & Fellowship) license. This is good to know when you consider licensure in Colorado to practice medicine. If you want to practice here (Colorado) you will need to be board certified.

Last time I checked the only one state that offered licensure dependent on board certification was Texas. Colorado didn't have any such rule in their legislation last I saw.
