Hi guys,

Can you give me some tips about how to prepare for UKCAT?
What kind of materials do I need?
And How much time should I spare to study for it?

I am a 4th year student in Biochemistry in Canada.

Thank you very much!!

you really don't need much time, if you've done the MCAT, the UKCAT is nothing like it. I took it and you really need to study about 1 month 2 hours each day or 2 weeks 4 hours each day tops. Its almost similar to an IQ test. Get 600 UKCAT practice questions book. I would post the link but i'm not allowed to until i get 20 posts lol. The math in this book is much harder than in reality but otherwise its quite similar. You may want to buy others as well to supplement.

UKCAT is very competitive...it includes basic arithmetic, reading and writing ability, along with character, and personal and social attitudes...

If you are good at all of these....you can make it...practice will definitely help you..

Run few timed practice tests (online). Keep studying until you get steady 750+. Really depends from person to person but I'd say - 2 months, 2-3 hrs per day. Too late for this year anyway..
