I am having a tough decision to whether aim for MUG or PMU. Seeing how active this forum is I would love to have a comprehensive response to my inquiry. The decisive criteria in which I would like to have a broad perspective on would include the standard of education, the skills and friendliness of the lecturers, and also the general image of the university.

Any contributing input would be highly appreciated!

Thank you

Probably Gdansk... but it depends on where you want to work, what you are trying to accomplish, etc.

Dude, Gdansk is one of the top schools in Poland. Very comparable to UJ. That's the only two I applied for, well I applied for UJ didn't get in, so now Gdansk is the way to go. Not much discussion here.

Okay, question then.
When they look at your secondary school grades will they convert it to the polish equivalence? Because an 80 where I live (Lebanon) is an A.

If it is a letter grade, they will convert it to the percentage equivalent of the country where the education was obtained

We don't use letter grades here, thought that was the case in Poland.
So from what you're saying they will convert my numerical grade from the Lebanese equivalence to the polish one?

No, they will just keep the numerical grade for what it is.

Comparing Danzig 25960 with a Pomeranian 25961 should give you your answer.
