Hi everyone, I understand from reading SABA website that they use ED Invest loan, which I think uses credit score.

I currently already have $200,000 in debt, without any other financial or credit issue. Am I still able to obtain loan to finish my entire education at Saba?

How in the world do you have 200K in debt before going to medical school. Are those US Fed education loans? Or did you pick those up at another Ed-Invest type loan shark.

You will end up with well over 400K (maybe 1/2 million) in loans. I don't know how you plan servicing that kind of debt.

To answer you question, I have no idea if Ed-invest will give you a loan. Even if they do, there's no guarantee that you will keep getting those loans in later semesters (which would be the worst case scenario).

to get approved for ed-invest, ur credit score has to be at least 700. I think it's best to call the company to inquire since u have a pending debt.

Is Saba a title IV?

Is Saba a title IV?

No, and won't be for the foreseeable future. They told me they were on the verge of title IV loans when I started talking to them in '08. They're probably still saying the same thing. Just assume it won't happen.
