Just wondering if someone from St Martinus could post the official match results from this year?
I am just exploring my options for Caribbean schools and I would like to see if there are any students that got any competitive matches
I would also like to know what the class size is? and school size?
It would be great if I could get some feedback from an actual student please :)

Enzyme, St. Martinus University had one graduate in the 2012 year who matched with a surgical residency in Florida.

thank you for replying Jeffrey :)

So when you say that one student matched in the year 2012, is that all?
I want to know how many students matched and to where in the 2013 match

There was only one student who graduated in 2012 and matched in 2013.

Hello Mr. Bowman,

One student graduated out of a class of how many? Also is there anywhere for prospective students to see and get information on SMUFOM need campus?

Thank you

Hello Brian,

One student graduated in 2012 and matched in 2013. Let me give you some background, when my partners and I purchased the majority share of St. Martinus University in October of 2010, most of the students had transferred out and only one student was actively enrolled. Our first semester under the new ownership and management started with 42 transfer students in January of 2011. We had students in Pre Med, MD1, MD2, MD3, MD4 and one clinical transfer student which is the one that graduated in 2012 and matched in 2013. We currently have 22 students in our clinical program so we anticipate the numbers to increase but as of now we only have one Doctor....

Please let us know if you have any further questions and thank you again for your interest in St. Martinus University Faculty of Medicine.

Hello Mr Bowman,

Thank you very much for your timely reply. Is there anyway to access information on SMUFOM new campus? Photos, facility breakdown, etc.. Again thank you for your assistance.

Yes. I too would like to know more information about your school and facilities. Are you accepting transfer students to your school now?

Hi Jeff I just wanted to clarify something you said for anyone reading, you mentioned that as of now we only have 1 doctor but that is "as of this year's match," correct? There's actually many more physicians who were graduates of St. Martinus in years past who are now residents/practicing physicians, correct? :)

I would like to get a response to saw176's question as well. I would like to know how many students have graduated in the past from St. Martinus and have actually obtained residencies in the US? SMUFOM's website has some testimonials/alumni of practicing physicians but I am wondering if this is all of the students that have been successful at SMUFOM or is there more?

Good Morning saw176 and sagopalm,

You are correct, my reference was for the one surgical residency match in Florida this year. St. Martinus University does have other graduates that are practicing medicine in the United States, Canada and Holland. The administration is actively trying to contact all previous students for an update of where they are. In the past two years, I have participated in assisting students gain license in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Iowa and Oklahoma.

I hope that helps and if you have any further questions please feel free to call the admissions office at 877.681-4SMU.

Thank you,
