View Full Version : Chance for Jan 2013

Hi All, I just want some insight/feedback... I'm applying for Jan 2013. My undergrad gpa is VERY low its a 2.1 , so because of this I have gone on and done my Masters (ill finish this nov/dec with that) my masters gpa is a 3.5 - and I've taken some post bacc classes. I have tons of volunteering/shadowing/leadership experience and great letter of rec.

I'm set to take the mcat in aug - currently I'm scoring btw a 23-26 on it... (depending on the day really). Is there anything I can do to improve my app? Any one have any feedback? Do I stand a chance at getting an interview?

Thank you in advance!

As always, apply and see what happens. Getting in Caribbean schools isn't the question, it's knowing you have the academia and work ethic to make it through the accelerated courses and do well (enough) on your STEP exams. Doing well in your Masters and Post Bacc should help out with your underwhelming undergrad GPA.

If you have a 3.5 masters and a 23-26 on MCAT, you should also look at applying to the big 4. And maybe even some DO
