Dont most schools offer some kind of review class/lectures or notes for step. Dont see what the big deal is here.

Well then why is the USMLE pass rate so bad for most of the schools?

Well then why is the USMLE pass rate so bad for most of the schools?

Because carribean schools accept anyone with a pulse a check for tuition. Their screening of new students is non-existent. Students who have no business being in medical school seek loophole through the caribbean system where they'll take anyone. Students squeeze by the first two years but Step 1 usually catches up to them. Thats why he pass-rate in carribean schools compared to U.S. is so low

I disagree. This is because of the 3 semester system. Medicine can not be done in 14 months. At least this is what I hear from my professors.

Well even St. Martinus which curriculum lasts longer than 14 months still has below average step 1 scores compared to US schools. So it cant be the 2 semester system
