You should explore more options, you have UCNE and PUCMM... i'm at PUCMM and i have to say, great campus, great education and the city of Santiago is, in my opinion, way better than Santo Domingo... (if you decide on those two, go to UNIBE) if you have doubts check on others threads about UCE or Unibe...

Have you made your decision yet? I'm looking into both schools as well and they both have their pros and cons..

Yeah man, and UCE is approved in all 50 states. Not sure if PUCCM is in all 50 states. UNIBE is the only one with an english program though.

There are lots of practicing mds from both universities at my hospital . I am an ER/ICU nurse in south Florida. They are well established and highly respected. No one even asks where they went, I didn't find out until I started requesting letters of recommendation for uce and intec. Search uce graduados and see how many you get, and it's a lot all over the world.

I NEED HELP!

I'm considering UCE medical school, but I have heard some wild stories about the DR. I heard this place is infested with hookworms and screwworms. Is this true? It wouldn't make sense to go to a country; in hopes of becoming a doctor and having to travel back to the US to be treated. Any feedback will be GREAT!
