Hi.. i have a doubt whether u wud c metabolic acidosis or alkalosis in conns syndrome.. cud some1 clarify plz... thanks in advance...=)...

Conn's syndrome as opposed to addison's ds, there is more aldosterone. With aldosterone, potassium and hydrogen go in the same direction and get cleared by the kidneys. So if there is too much aldosterone, there's too much clearance of hydrogen, essentially the body will lose more acid, left with an acid deficit and therefore a metabolic alkalosis.
