Hi, Im a potential incoming student for the Sept 2011 (if I dont get accepted Im going to take some classes at a local CC and then apply again in Jan 2012) I just saw that Saint Martinus is offering free tuition for the first semester and then something like 50% off for 2nd place and so on and so forth, I have couple of questions about this..

First : If I write the essay by Wed How long will it take for them to get back to me to let me know the outcome.

Second: Even if I win the essay, but my GPA isnt high enough or my CV isnt strong enough can I take my winning of the free tuition to Jan 2012?

I saw this on the website, I was dang Pro STATUS, wish they had this when I was aping, but word on the street is they are doing something similar for us for like a brand new I-pad 2 or some stuff...and apparently this research topic is some how related to the research Saint Martinus will be starting

I really doubt anyone will win anything. I believe this will result in the classic bait and switch ploy.

Response for anzulpanther: I'm not sure why you are so negative or even why you are posting such nonsense on the St. Martinus Forum being you are the moderator for St. Mathews. Are you jaded because St. Mathews pull a bait and switch on you?

Well I assure you that I will personally post the SMUFOM winners on St. Mathew's Forum when they are announced. Thank you for visiting our forum!!!

"azulpanther" If you don't know for sure, than let it be! A wrong but authoritative-sounding answer is worse than none at all. Don't point anyone down

Nice try on the definition of trolling.

Anyways, if St. Martinus does live up to their word I would be genuinely impressed. The essay topic is very interesting. I think many people including myself would love to read the winning essay.

Sorry if my opinion offended you, it was my opinion and since this is a public forum I have every right to come here. No school is without their problems, but I did graduate and I am in residency so I am happy with my decision.

Good luck to you, the school and students.

"azulpanther" It's okay to voice your opinion, but disrespecting others is a good way to get flamed It will sound as if you are rude, immature, and uninformed

I am still working on my second essay right now. I feel like it's coming out so much better. I do not like my first essay that I just turned in. I did it quick and with not my best thinking power. It was a rough draft, so I am not trippin that much. My essay that I am working on right now seems way better than the first one. I actually used my head. So It takes time to complete it.
