Hi everybody!

I will be rotating at St. Agnes from October to the beginning of January and I have been looking at housing in Baltimore. Since I am not going to stay in Baltimore for very long, I am thinking of walking to and from the hospital. I found a few places on the VMD forums but there was no mention of the possibility to walk to the hospital. Does anybody knows if there are apartments to rent or if people are renting rooms in the immediate area of St. Agnes?

On another note, do you think that walking to and from the hospital is advisable and/or practical, especially at night and in the winter?

I will be doing my Internal Medicine rotation there. Do you know if the entire rotation is done at St. Agnes or do we also go to small clinics in the area? I have heard that some people have had to do that for some rotations, but I don't know specifically if it is true of St. Agnes.

Any input is welcome. Thanks for your help.

Not advisable to walk to and from St. Agnes (although safer area than Hopkins)
You need a car.
All IM is done in hospital (10 weeks of floor, 1 week ER, 1 week CCU/clinics)
