Those are step 1 and 2 scores by country of medical school. I think it might be useful information to share. Thanks HB.

It looks like majority of the schools did improve their Step1 rates from the one prior to this report, shown in the first post above.
In 2009 [exam takers] :
* Grenada (SGU) [816] - 90%
* Dominica (Ross) [901] - 88%
* Netherlands Antilles [667] - 68%
* Antigua [441] - 54%
* Cayman Islands (SMU) [349] - 51%
* Saint Kitts and Nevis [326] - 49%
* Saint Lucia [56]- 37%
* Aruba [57] - 29%

Differences in preparation of students and different levels of students are just a couple of variables in the different passing rates- one major factor is that some schools only allow students to register for the USMLE after they have passed a very thorough sample test which would be predictive of their ability of passing the actually exam- this keeps the unprepared and incapable students from skewing their statistics.

Does CMU require the students to take the shelf exam in the 5th semester?
