CAV Computer Aided Veneering of Crowns and Bridges

To improve the optical properties of framework materials a layering is necessary. This can be done in the conventional way with adding ceramic masses using a brush. Also veneering can be pressed on with the help of the lost wax technique (Press-on). Until now there was no way to do this with modern CAD/CAM technologies.

It's good innovation when you consider that traditionally, crowns take two or three visits and just as many weeks of waiting. Now you can have a restored tooth without the wait.
