getting in should be fine, it's finishing the curriculum and passing the steps that are difficult

just show them that your loans are secured.

Couldn't find a chances sticky...so here it goes.

2.6 cGPA, science gpa around 2.4 (3.4 in last 50 credits of post-bac). Some repeats, but taken many upper division classes (genetics, microbio, A and P, immunology, cell bio) 32 MCAT. Graduated from top 50 public school school in '09. Lots of diverse volunteer experience including hospital programs and medical mission trip. EMT certified and some research. Worked full time with family business.

I think the MCAT went well. I won't get my scores until the beginning of March or the end of February. I am applying to SMU, AUA, MUA, SGU, Ross, Saba, and AUC. What about you?

I had a low GPA in college (2.9) and a decent high MCAT (27). Your chances with SMU are good, I just graduated from SMU this past December.

Proves the point that SMU takes almost whatever... but charges as a top school...
