MD to DMD/DDS Programs
First why on earth would you transfer from MEDICINE into DENTISTRY ?
most DDS/DMD would do anything to get into an MD program....it is by far harder to become an MD than a Dentist....

And Yes, most DMD/DDS programs will SURELY take you in, if you pass the USMLE Step 1, some will offer advance standing for the first 2 years, others not, as the Basic sciences are mostly ORAL/FACIAL and not Comprehensive as in Medical schools.

Unless you might be interested in ORAL SURGERY, or FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY...I don't see any reason to pursue Dental Program as an MD.

Good Luck,

Note that the pre-dental exam is the DAT, not the MCAT.

Also, unless the OP has a green card, the chances for admission will probably plummet.

Theres plenty of people who would choose dentistry over MD. Different reasons. good money, less responsibility way better hours etc.

Misspelling the word "school"...... always makes me chuckle
