I'm a practicing chiropractor for about 4 years and have recently decided to return to MD school. I've read through most of these forum posts and find that only a handful of people actually know what they are talking about. I've been accepted to several schools, one of which is UHSA. I realize there seems to be a lot of negativity surrounding UHSA, however, I found out about UHSA from a local internal medicine doctor who graduated in 2002 (and YES he IS licensed). In his experience, UHSA seemed to serve him well, and recommended the school to me. Is there anyone with any REAL knowledge about this school, good or bad? My concerns are the obvious ones... ability to practice, residencies, class size and overall experience. Any help and/or direction would be appreciated.

I won't comment about specific schools but my general advice is always to attend the best most established school you can if you go foreign. For those that make the leap from Chiropractic, understand that you are starting over.

Anybody else wants to share their DC (chiro) to MD or DO stories.
