Hi everyone. :D I'm a new member looking for a bit of advice.

I am interested in applying for dentistry in Canada and would like to know a few things.

First what GPA are they usually looking for? I mean I don't have the greatest grades but I do have some great references from different places I've worked after graduating. Mostly non-profit organizations and such.

Also I am trying to study for the DAT and any advice would really be helpful. Wat to study? etc.

Finally I know a dentist that went to school and did a masters in Genetics and then went to dental school and that way he was excempt from taking the DAT. Does anyone know if this is still possible?

Please help. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In order to obtain admission into dental school, specifically in Canada in this day and age, a relatively high GPA is required alongside decent DAT scores. Due to competitiveness of the DDS program throughout the country, DAT scores are required.
