I am a newly accepted student for 5-year dental program that need to acquire a loan. The only problem that I have is that they work only with AIM (Alliance Institute of Medicine) which is only for MD students. Can anyone tell me about any other institute that will work with dental students and have electronic access in which they can work between the financial aid offices in USA and the Medical University of Lodz. The university of lodz said that they dont deal with any kind of loans even that they have federal code.

read these articles before attending dental school outside of US:

Idiotic regulations of greedy, inept and incompetent state dental boards in USA (http://sci.tech-archive.net/Archive/sci.med.dentistry/2008-10/msg00034.html)

I know a foreign dental graduate personally that is applying for the states license but cannot do so unless he passes the first DAT/NDBME----slight correction(I can't remember which) and reappplies for dental school and attends a US dental school for at least 2 years (with additional tuition/fee/board and loans) before even getting a dental license here in the US....My strongest advice get into dental school in the US or take the risk shot of attending meedical school...either one is an arduous path despite what others in this forum will try to claim that I am "scaring" people away.

I know that stafford is only approved for the medical school and not the dental school.

the facts will never change despite those who criticize me.

Please read the dental forums on foreign dental grads and good luck in your choice.
