Hi folks!!

Just like others I also need a decent advise

I have a 2.5 over all GPA and I am pretty sure that I am not a good MCAT taker. That's why I have decided to not to take it.

I was wondering what are my chances of getting admission for M.D program in this University or in any of the (FAIMER (IMED) accredited) Caribbean medical school with 2.5 GPA and without MCAT score ?

Yes, I know I am not a genius and thanks for not telling me .

I have a undergraduate in Bio-Medical sciences from USA, and I am also a U.S citizen.

I will appreciate your reasonable responses, and suggestions.. Thanks

Hey there,
You should consider taking the MCAT and maybe some other classes to boost your GPA up more. You never know until you try! Stop saying what you can't do!

UniBe will take you if you cant pay but wont be an easy ride and your clinicals will be in spanish so keep that in mind.

As long as you can exchange Oxygen with Carbon Dioxide effortlessly, then UCE will take u.

The breathing one liner was funny. Are all schools like this or is it just UCE? I have a 3.0 GPA and i want to apply to UNIBE and i'm sort of worried because while most of my classes are in the 90s I have two classes in the 70s where i just had horrible teachers and either didn't do the work or didn't put all the effort i should of put in. Will UNIBE deny me =O! ??

Good morning

As the others mentioned, just give a try to the MCAT you never know. You have the most important thing needed.....MOTIVATION!! Go for it!

Does UNIBE require the MCAT?

No, it is not needed. We also don't require the MCAT. Its a pleasure to serve you.

There are rumors that soon UNIBE will start to ask forthe MCAT, but don't know the scores they will be looking for

What, kind of GPA is needed to gain admission? Is it strictly 2.5? My undergrad GPA was a 2.45. My high school GPA was a 3.9 so I was debating on what would be safer for me. Apply as a transfer student with my 2.45 gpa or apply fresh into pre med with my high school GPA? ANy advise? Regardless, I would still have to take Organic 2 and Physics 1 and 2, so I wouldn't have applyed for 5th semester. Thanks for the input.

Anyone??? I'm considering applying for pre med with my high school transcripts. (Even though I have my bachelors) Do you think it'll be a problem seeing how I graduated from high school 5 years ago?
