I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with TD Canada Trust & the Professional Student LOC? If you have, where did you go & who did you speak with?

Thanks in advance!

You can talk to an advicer at TD about Student Line of Credit. In short, it has the same offering as RBC.

I looked into both of these places RBC and TD before coming to SABA and they are both pretty much the same. You need to have a co-signer for the TD loan (not sure about the RBC one) since you are leaving the country.

RBC never asked me for co-sign so I went with them.

How did you convince them? They are asking me to get a co-signer so I'm now going to have a chat with the TD people.

For TD, the LOC is an exception process and needs to go through an underwriter so be prepared to go back and forth with your lender who will go back and forth with the underwriter in regards to the application. And you will need a co-signer if you're going to school out of the country - it's written in black and white TD's rules.

Edit...TD was able to get me the LOC, RBC couldn't.
